Thanks for visiting the T.I.P. website. We are a small group of fans who have joined together to subtitle productions by Japan's Takarazuka Revue theater. If you would like to learn more about Takarazuka, we suggest you start at the Official Takarazuka Homepage or the Takarazuka Wiki (takawiki_news).

Policy:

In the tradition of anime "fansubs", our releases are provided at-cost on DVD-R. We here at T.I.P. have very strong beliefs about bootlegs and illegal copies, particularly of our beloved Takarazuka Revue. Takarazuka and its parent company Hankyu are very protective of their copyrights, so all TIP fansubs are made from shows originally aired on television, and not from commercial releases. We hope that these rough broadcasts will inspire you to support the company and the actresses by buying their beautiful commercial releases. Our worst nightmare would be for this to discourage fans from buying commercial copies, and if we sense this to be happening, we WILL stop. So please, please, please, support our ladies! Here's how you can buy from overseas! :)

We ask that you respect the rights of the Takarazuka company by not re-distributing our shows for profit. Do NOT sell copies of our discs or offer them "free" with another purchase (for example, on eBay), because this may cause Hankyu to threaten legal action against both you and us. If we at TIP are contacted by Hankyu regarding any copyright violation, we will immediately cease all our fan-subbing activities.

Similarly, we ask that you do not upload our subtitled discs online in any form. For personal reasons, we do NOT want them available on YouTube or other similar sites. If we find them online, we will stop fan-subbing.

NOTE: Because this fan-subbing group consists of volunteer fans who are working and studying, we are not always able to reply to emails or complete orders immediately. Please be patient with our poor, overworked distributors. If you do not get a reply, please wait a week before emailing them again.

Based loosely on the operetta by Johann Strauss II, and using Strauss's music, this is a comedy about an orphaned young man (Sterk Barinkay) who lived a wild carefree life until his true identity as a landed man of means is discovered and he is brought back to Hungary to claim his inheritance. His return throws a cog into the plans of his ambitious neighbor, a rich pig farmer (Kálmán Zsupán) who has spent years digging through the Barinkay lands in search of a fabled buried treasure. Zsupán quickly schemes to trap Sterk into marriage with one of his daughters. Meanwhile, Sterk discovers a band of gypsies on his land that are hauntingly familiar....

Vampires do exist, and so long as their soul hasn't been corrupted they are free from evil. This musical follows the life of Francis, a templar knight from the 13th century. He finds shelter in the Valley of the Roses from the persecution that has wiped out the rest of his order, but then finds himself tangled in the lives of the vampire clan living there. He falls in love with their princess, but can he choose eternal, endless life to be with her? And what will happen after....?

This is a famous revue which has been performed many times by Takarazuka Revue, beginning in 1971. It incorporates well-known Spanish songs with new Japanese ones to tell the story of the thieves Sol and Ouro, and the women who fall in love with them during the Rio de Janeiro carnival, Estrella and Brisa. The only spoken dialogue in the revue is the priest and the nun, plus one line each by Sol and Estrella. The rest is told through song, or acted out.

1960, Northern Italy. Wealthy citizens from all over the globe gather in a resort town on the Lago di Como for the summer. This summer, however, things don't go quite as planned. During a party at the Simmons's villa to celebrate the beginning of the season, a man is murdered, and the Simmons's youngest daughter is found by the body with a gun in her hand. Who was the man? Who did it? Was it the mysterious new master of the neighboring villa, Joey Baxter? Police inspector Mira is determined to find out, but it seems more than one secret is being concealed by the rich guests....

In the odd, anachronistic little European kingdom of Cannellonia, the old king will soon be celebrating his 90th birthday. There he intends to announce his great-granddaughter's betrothal to the prince of his choice. But Margherita is in love with a penniless Parisian actor named Gustave. Can Gustave and his two friends cause enough chaos to disrupt the betrothal....?

Based on the Austrian musical of the same name, this show traces the life of Elisabeth, empress of the Austrian Empire. Told through the eyes of her assassin, the Italian terrorist Luigi Lucheni, it follows Elisabeth from her impetuous, tom-boyish youth, through her falling in love and marrying the young Emperor Franz-Joseph, to her struggles with her strict mother-in-law, disillusionment in her husband, children, and eventual old age. Of course, this musical has a twist, for Death is also a constant watcher in Elisabeth's life, in love with her since she was a child and determined to make her love him in return....

Meiji Era Japan. While en-route to Tokyo to join the Enouza theater, Takagorou disappears in Yokohama. Though his sister and the family and inn servants search everywhere, there is no sign of him. His meeting is the next day, and time is running out, so his twin sister Otaka decides to secretly take his place and join the kabuki troupe for him, awaiting his return.
